Earth-Art Workshop 1

Earth-Art Workshop 1

This summer, Terrateal proudly hosted its inaugural Earth-Art Class, an event filled with creativity and education. This was initiated by me (Arpita/Isha). I collaborated with my classmate Charlotte Merrit who is a girl scout. Together we developed the structure of the program.

Participants gathered to explore the vital role that plants play in our ecosystem, discovering how they contribute to air quality, biodiversity, and overall environmental health. Throughout the session, we engaged in insightful discussions and hands-on activities that highlighted the interconnectedness of plants and their surroundings. Each attendee walked away with a deeper understanding of how plants support life on Earth, as well as practical knowledge they can apply in their own gardens and communities.

To make the experience even more memorable, everyone received a delightful goody bag filled with eco-friendly surprises. Additionally, participants were excited to take home their very own sprouts, ready to be planted in the charming pots they decorated during the class. It was a joyful and enriching experience that fostered a love for nature and creativity, leaving everyone inspired to nurture both their plants and the planet!
